HUMAN-HORSE
Before Horse was domesticated, humans were earthbound and slow creatures. Once we climbed on the Horse's back, we were as free and fleet as the wind. Through our spatial relationship, we have altered our self-concept beyond measure. Now we owe an incalculable debt to Horse, but instead, we are stealing their power more than ever.
The sand pendulum needs only one push to begin creating patterns. Gravity, friction, earth’s rotation. Nature was perfect before we interrupted and brought chaos to the world with dual ideas, ropes, and cast iron shoes.
We transformed an alerting orange road cone into a peaceful sand pendulum. Painted it in pure white and hung it upside down in the center of the room. Nature and life, not the economy, are in the center.
